Movement as an everyday practice
Gentle enough to begin. Rich enough to keep exploring.
Tai Chi and Qi Gong use coordinated movement, breath, posture, attention, and repetition. Practices can be adapted for different starting points, making them approachable for people who want to move more comfortably, build confidence in balance, manage stress, or reconnect with their bodies.
You do not need prior martial arts or movement experience. Dr. Orit emphasizes clear instruction, curiosity, and sustainable practice rather than performance or perfection.
Tai Chi, Qigong, and movement education
What a practice may help you develop.
Balance and coordination
Slow weight shifts and attentive stepping offer a structured way to explore steadiness, spatial awareness, and movement confidence.
Mobility and joint ease
Comfortable ranges of motion and whole-body sequences encourage movement without forcing flexibility or intensity.
Posture and breath
Practice connects alignment, relaxed breathing, and efficient movement so you can notice and change unnecessary holding patterns.
Stress regulation
Rhythm, repetition, and focused attention create a practical pause from mental and physical tension.
Body awareness
Mindful movement helps you recognize how you organize effort, balance, and attention during practice and daily activities.
Ongoing home practice
Short, repeatable sequences can become realistic tools between classes, movement consultations, or acupuncture visits.
A cross-disciplinary teacher
Chinese movement arts informed by acupuncture and Pilates.
Dr. Orit is a certified Tai Chi and Qi Gong instructor, Stott Pilates Mat and Apparatus instructor, 500+ hour yoga teacher, Doctor of Acupuncture, and New York licensed acupuncturist. Her teaching draws on Chinese medicine, rehabilitative movement, music, rhythm, breath, and careful observation.
That background allows practices to be adapted with attention to balance, pelvic stability, posture, mobility, and the student's individual goals. Movement instruction is educational and is not a substitute for medical diagnosis, physical therapy, or emergency fall evaluation.
